'If It's Football, It's Vital'

New week, New Nonsense.

New week, New Nonsense.

Hi everybody, I hope you all had a lovely weekend & enjoyed the blisteringly hot weather, the excellent result by the British Lions Rugby lads and, of course, Andy Murray remaining British via winning the Wimbledon title, rather than becoming Scottish via losing it :) (Could this be the year someone wins Sports Personality of Year without actually having one?).. The first winner since 1936, 77 years ago, is what happened yesterday, nice!! Ironically 'Spuds-U-Like' remembers Fred Perry winning it back in 1936, just like it was yesterday ;).

Let's start with some info which seems to have been gathering a bit of pace over the last 2 or 3 days, though I never mentioned it on here because I never thought anything of it. Anyway, this is the latest info...

GARDS - 'Nacer Chadli must have legs! Can confirm he has been to our training ground as well a! s another player who would be tougher to get!'..

Anyone know anything about this lad? A quick Google search tells me he is a 23 year old winger, Belgian, 6ft 2' tall, plays for FC Twente & has a goal ratio of about 1 in 4. So if anyone has seen the lad play, I'm sure we'd all appreciate a little info!! On other platforms for info, it seems he's full of pace, has a trick or two up his sleeve & would, potentially, play on the left of a front 3, like Varela did for AVB at Porto BUT is equally comfortable on the right. People seem genuinely excited by this info!!

As for 'the other player' mentioned within GARDS info, Gards has said the mystery player's club may not know about his visit, so it probably isn't one of Chadli's friends from Twente. Should we be concerned that we have players looking at our facilities without the knowledge of their club? I doubt we're in the habit of showing any old so & so around our training facilities? GARDS said he is not talki! ng about David Villa, but thinks this is closer to happening & he won't mention the name as the deal is miles away from happening BUT has confirmed that he is a striker. This will get tophobunty VERY because many other people are thinking that the mystery person could well be Benteke, due to the fact that he (the mystery player) was shown around at the same time as Chadli, yet isn't from FC Twente but would be someone that Chadli knows, otherwise there'd b no point in showing the 2 players around together, they'd be shown around individually.

JJetset the appeared to answer somebody who said, 'how would we get away with showing Benteke around our training ground'... JJetset said, 'Well we showed numerous players around last season that didnt come to fruition including Willian, so don't go too excited about us showing Benteke around ;)'...

For me, it's all about the ' ;) ' at the end of JJ's response, he does like to tease & that really 'could' mean something. However, lorry loads of salt etc etc!! Oh and according to B! enteke's twitter account, he was in London yesterday, along with De Bruyne & Lukaku, nice coincidence for the optimistic there :)

Other news sees 'Corriere dello Sport' saying we have contacted Man Utd about Nani, personally I hope not, but each to their own!!

Our own pres seems to think we've agreed everything with David Villa, with the fee to be agreed between the clubs.

That should do for now, we can chat about more as it comes through. I'd just like to say a big THANK YOU to 'tophobunty' who, over the last week or so, has really 'toned it down' and discussed everyone's opinions with great respect & equal measures of knowledge. This place has been MUCH better for it, so I for one appreciate his effort greatly. Thanks tophob ;)..

After meeting a gorgeous blonde last night, I took her home and had sex with her. After we finished she said that I was crap in bed. A bit harsh really, how the heck does she know after 20 seconds?

Let's.... Chat.... Nonsense!!
