The beginning of what should be a calm Tuesday morning at our brand new Enfield training ground. Players having a little kick about in preparation for a trip to Georgia later on, meanwhile Villas Boas, Baldini and Levy sit down for a nice cuppa and reflect on a transfer window well spent. NO CHANCE!! Not at Spurs!! Judging by reports this morning, it's more likely that there'll be a few stops on the way to Tbilisi for the 3 amigos while the players bounce around in anticipation of who their next new buddy's going to be.
First Stop, London. Not very far to go for our first meeting of the day where we have a cup of Earl Grey and yarn with representatives of Roma over the possibile move for Erik Lamela. A winger-come-forward likley to cost in excess of £25m. Next Stop, Madrid. A short flight to the Spanish capital to remind Real of their 2 week deadline while also convincing the Spanish giants that their Portuguese Left Back would be best served in North London. Fabio Coentrao, likley to cost around £10m or come as part of any deal involving Gareth Bale going the other way.
Next Stop, Monaco. For the sake of fuel, our friends board the train to Europe's most exclusive destination to speak with the supposed billionaire owners of this small countries biggest team, regarding the potential sale of none other than Radamel Falcao. Yes, that Falcao!! Apparently he's not happy, the owners lied to him and he needs to escape his 3 month 'nightmare'. Danny Boy will need to have an extra chequebook if this story is true. Could cost anywhere between £30-50m.
Next stop, Makhachkala. A handy destination to visit before heading to Tblisi to visit the man who will potentially fill the void left behind if/when Gareth Bale leaves. Willian, the Brazilian we almost signed in January is on the move again and AVB has a determined look in his eye. This time his pal will be coming home with him. The Brazilian winger is understood to be available at a cut of the £30m the Russinas spent on him...how big that cut will be though is anyone's guess.
Then with all that wrapped up - Daniel, Franco and Andre are able to hop on a hot air balloon with a case of cider and enjoy the views over Diklosmta Mountain en route to Georgia. No one ever complained that isnt exciting supporting Spurs!!
