The Pride Of Tallaght, The Pride Of Ireland - Robbie Keane
Last night in Dublin, the Irish football community were 'keen' (poor pun, I know - moving on..) to show their appreciation for Robbie Keane at the FAI awards and in doing so inducted him into their Hall of Fame.
Robbie, now 36-years-old applied his trade for Tottenham Hotspur on two occasions (2002 - 2008 and 2009 - 2011) making 238 appearances, scoring 91 goals. Not only that he`s Ireland's record goalscorer having bagged 68.
Former Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy made the following RTE Sport message.

Steven Gerrard, Michael Carrick, a certain bloke by the name of Dimitar Berbatov and living legend, Pele lead the Keano tributes!
'Remember, you and me, on the pitch,' Berbatov said.
