I think Fryers will be better too. If Smith & Fryers come into the squad next year it is easy to see us selling both Rose & Naughton.

Just as I predicted. Told you guys who wont like life on the bench. He will end up at a mid table club and then in a couple of years in the Championship. Thats he's level.

This is hilarious and I cant find my old post.

Two years back I predicted that he he is not good enough, will go on loan, play well and then come out with comments like this. He will then be sold. Another Jamie O'Hara

I predict the same for Walker, Townsend and Livermore. Walker will have a few years in and around the first team but he will be playing for a mid table club soon enough.

If we progress this is what will happen.

Silly predictions, but I'll bow to your crystal Balls. Players want to play, and MoN will have worked hard on him. He knows he's got a real talent on his hands...the best of Rose is yet to come, at 23 I don't blame him wanting a week in week out starting place, just a shame that his head sounds like it's been turned.

More of the Spurs talent stock pile.

You collect a lot of talent of a certain age, build them up and if they are extremely lucky they will find a spot in the team. The rest are sold to raise money to spend on new... strikers...

...

Damn!

From the 2 u21 game that I've seen fryers in, I can honestly say he's miles away from being anywhere near good enough for the 1st team.

Whats wrong with players not wanting to be on the bench on a regular basis? Most of us said the chances are he will be off in the summer becuase he won't want to be bench boy anymore. Which is fair enough the lad wants to play, good on him.

seriously, i doubt the people bashing rose have actually watched him for sunderland. say all you like "he's playing for a mid table team" but sunderland still play the same teams week in week out that we do. and Rose has stepped to all of them with a few man of the match performances too.

I think people are jumping on the Ex & Oneil bandwagon with this one. I know Ex rates him and a few people have given him rave reviews but I didnt. When i watched him he was poor. The thing that compounded that was the sunderland supporters still raved about him so i take their views with a pinch of salt. Thing is, good for them doesnt mean good for us. How many of their players would we like in our squad?

So i have witnessed average to poor in spurs colours. Poor in sunderland colours and tbh nothing that jumps out and says quality at all.

He has a chance to come back to spurs with a bit more experience and try to PROVE his quality to us. If he isnt man enough to do that, regardless of what M Oniel says then he isnt right for spurs anyhow.

Its not worth worrying about. He comes back and competes he has a chance of the big time. He goes to Sunderland and he slowly fades away. Whichever he chooses i am not that bothered tbh

Good for you! Keep writing off our young players before they've even had much of a chance to perform!

There is always a reason why players talk - normally because their agent(s) are pulling their strings. I've witnessed it at first hand.

AVB said when MON muted a permanent move that there was 'no chance of it happening and he had a big future with us'...

MoN then effectively said in response ' when money talks bullshit walks'. I am told they made an approach to agree a deal in Jan and got told to jog on...unless you want him so bad you meet our valuation ...(speculation here by an agent I know, but he thinks that as a U-21 England regular that is close to £10 mill!! - just think what the manure were demanding for fryers)...

So now the game begins, MoN and Roses' agent will be getting inside Roses head on an almost daily basis. Rose and his agent are laying out their agenda ...' tell me how you intend to use me, or I'm off..'

That doesn't mean that Rose is afraid to compete with Benny or anyone else, what it does mean is that just like Walker asked and got assurances from Harry, the opportunity to do so is delivered.

Rose spent almost two years on the sidelines injured, even since his debut, he's had a series of injuries that have held him back, and it's these injuries and his lack of competitive games that would allow him to blossom that must be the only negatives about him backing it to the very top - as he has all the skills and all the qualities to go all the way...

I dont dissagree with you on him Ex. I just see the 'games' in a different light. If a player decides to become involved in 'games' then that player has already shown his hand for the rest of his carreer (ADE).

Now if he/his agent just came out and said yes i am enjoying it at Sunderland. I am here untill the end of the season. At the end of the season as long as AVB wants me then i am a spurs player and will fight tooth and nail to get the position. Thats the end of things.

Sunderland can go suck donkey dicks if they think its ok to loan a player off us who we have made it clear is part of our future plans and then spend the next 6mths tapping him up. Serious foul play and i wouldnt be contemplating any further business with them.

So Mr Rose, regardless of how good you are or can become. Do your time, enjoy it and come back. If you are good enough you will get the oppertunity, no question. But AVB cant stand beside you on the pitch. Man up or piss off back to Sunderland.

This is not a spurs problem. This is a young proffessionals problem and he needs to deal with it

Is Rose why Jenkinson just got sent off, or was that Johnson?

Turns out it was neither. Looks like he's injured his hamstring now though.
