Will we ever know who has proposed to spend altogether such a big amount of money to buy Janssen and Sissoko?

If you know the structure of the club and who was in charge of our scouting, and who is on the committee, it isn't hard to know.

I thought we did well, I think much of our better play was because Vertongen was back. It gave us more options. OK Son is on and off with his play. I too think Janssen could have had a place today after we went 3 up, it could have unlocked him 'MAYBE'. I know, it's a BIG maybe. I think he's down the road, personally. With Danny back soon, I want to see us get back to challenging. I think Pochettino's still trying stuff out. But I think he knows what he's doing, he still doesn't have the best squad and many are still young but he can pick players well, he's done great with Winks, IMO. I'm not going to say that Fulham weren't good, they certainly weren't the best but let's not put ourselves down too quickly.

But looking at the positives, he had opportunity to try things out and give more practice to Winks and Davies etc. I thought our passing was quicker and pacier too.

Berbatov would offer more as a sub than Sissoko or any of the kids. I'm not sure Levy would take him under any contract after what he did though . I'm surprised no club has taken him.

You'd think a relegation struggler like Sunderland would bite his hand off but maybe he's fussy about where he goes.

I agree though. Berbs on the bench over Sissy and Janssen for me

With Berbatov it's not just his scoring ability. Remember his skill at receiving a ball and it sticking to his boot. Also his dead weight passing for thru balls. I am assuming he can still do it.

A blind dog with one leg would have better ball control than shitsoko....how come poch can't see it?
All I can think is that Poch has been instructed to give him some game time so he keeps on the radar for a summer move to a club in e.g china who will know the name from his agent, but will have sweet fa clue that he is shite!

A return to a semblence of form against an odd Fulhham side. They didn't look PL quality whilst looking tidy enough, but with little to no threat. Vertongen and Aldwerwiereld combined are more than the sum of their individual parts, and there were some impressive performances elsewhere. Not being mean but it is games like this that fallter to deceive in the way we play..........other than Sissoko.

So far we have had a lot of fortune in the FA Cup in terms of who we have played, and it is amazing that we get another low quality opponent whilst the other two giants (I count us as one) have to play each other. I feel that we have a good chance to win it unless our manager contrives to throw it away, either by bizarre rotation priorities or weird tactics.

When you got it you never lose it. Players like him, Ginola, Gazza will always have it.

I remember Hoddle when he was the manager here hitting a 50 yard pass to Ziege in training one after the other. The accuracy was ridiculous. Every single pass was immaculate.

It's a gift RD not teachable. Harry has had to work very hard to get where he is and I admire that . But to some it just comes naturally , that gem is found once in a while and has to be treasured.

thing with Berba was that he'd get as many assists as score goals... the mark of a truly great forward, despite his lack of speed...

yes I used the word 'speed' and not 'pace' in the context of a footballer.... so sue me.
