can someone explain why these stats are different to the ones on the same thread on the portsmouth page? they were more generous.

Who cares we won and bossed the game from start to finish. Pompey parked the bus and we showed real class today with patient possession football at a good tempo. Bring on the Toon!

Goals against off course could be better, We must be the best team to watch for a neutral.

yep we are the best most entertaining side in the prem, only man utd have scored more goals then us and there have been more goals in spurs matches then any other teams game, partilly due to our generous defence, anyway middle of the table we maybe but id still rather beat reading 6-4, then 1-0 as arsenal and chelsea are famous for.

Just think how many goals we will score when we get a midfield. Scary to think..

Off the subject but notice Petrov looked good today again. Man we missed out on him big time. Just imagine a left hand side of Bale Petrov and a right hand side of Hutton and Bentley. I can only dream...

bentley?eh?lennon was shocking today. he can beat a man, but end product is awful, if ramos can teach him to cross who needs bentley

Hav'ent seen the game yet, there is a replay on over here this arvo, but well done lads, sounded like it was well deserved. Really pleased for Bent, to come on & score a decisive goal & supply an assist, it will do his confidence no end of good

RD that would be a dream, Only Utd could boast a better Left & Right side and the supply the forwards would get and all the players can score goals too. I really regret not getting Petrov as he is class same as Diarra of Pompey. I really hope we go for Bentley in the summer.

I have to admit our MF did well (we were wothout Jenas in fact, so why wondering) the game was under control and we were patient and looked like an Italian side at times at least in my view ... this is really a very, very good and encouraging sign

Agree Virtian our possession football was encouraging but in all honesty we played like that under Jol with Carrick & JJ in midfield.the only thing is we need to zip the ball about faster with one or two touches and as we can be too predictable. I see signs of a good tempo but unfortunately we have not got the players in the middle of the pitch to sustain that and the move breaks up or goes back to our Cb`s ..mmmm..wonder who the culprit may be that loves a sideways or backwards pass. Against PSV their was too much sideways and backwards passinf for me and at a slow pace which was easy to defend against.

Remember Ramos gave a "dissapointing" facial expression when Lennon delivered a cross way above the posts. Shortly after that, he was substituted. Honestly, I have a feeling that he will be out in the summer (Although I hope not).

Anyway, the most important thing is our play is definitely improving under Ramos. Can only hope for better showings next season.

Yeah,I noticed Ramos expression when Lennon again messed up a crossing opportunity. If only Lennon stayed behind and practised skills after training ----kicking,shooting,crossing,dribbling,heading,using left foot, putting some muscle on like Gazza and Ginola. His only attribute is speed ---about time he earnt his money and started to develop as a footballer rather than sprinter.

Bentley may cost in the area of about £15m to acquire but considering his outstanding form this season, his ability from set pieces, his youth, the ability to play both left and right and in the hole, that might just be a bargain. He has as much technical ability as almost anyone his age in Europe.

I wish every Spurs Supporter a Happy Easter, and thanks to Pompy and Chavski, it now is. Le'Arse are in freefall, shame we don't play them again this year it could have been a 6 pointer. lol.

Nice to see the ref at Old Trafford booked someone for gobbing off at him...why have they started now then? More to the point, will it be happening next weekend too or is this just a one off?

It's a one off, they'll never do that to Roony or ferdinand at OT, or Terry and Lampard at the bridge. they're all bottle jobs, and all terrified of old red face.

No P,M its not, only when we play sides that come to the lane with no intention of even trying to win the game, you defended well but eventually you broke. the crowd i would imagine were pretty frustrated with watching you get 11 behind the ball, but justice was done in the end
